    Sorry I didn’t catch you. Could you please repeat the question?

    I’m sorry but could you say that again?

    In fact…

    …you see, ….

    You know…

    How shall I put this. …

    Give me a few second… I think that…

    当你回答的太少时，当你发现自己表达的不够完善，想要再在此基础上加一些解释，那你就必须用上这些句型啦：

    In other words, I am…

    And that means…

    Let me put it another way…

    What I’m saying/suggesting is…

    All I’m trying to say is…

    What I’m getting at is…

    If I can rephrase that…

    Perhaps I should make that clearer by saying…

    Perhaps it would be more accurate to say…

    当你想要结尾时 ，这也是很多中国烤鸭的通病，讲话没有结尾，偶尔会让考官认为你接下来还有话说。那么这时候给自己的话加上一个结束，就能很好地避免尴尬啦~
