　　1.the press/pres/
　　n.报纸；报刊/新闻记者；
　　e.g.press reports/coverage
　　e.g.The incident has been widely reported in the press.
　　在雅思听力中常见的替换形式：media;newspaper;TV等。
　　如10-2-2选择题：
　　Local newspapers have raised worries about:
　　A:the opening date
　　B.the cost of the project
　　C.the size of the facilities
　　原文：there has been quite a bit of discussion in the local press about whether there would be enough room for the number of visitors we are hoping to attract.
　　注意两者的替换，否则容易听丢定位。

　　2.pop-up/'pɔp,ʌp/
　　adj.appearing on the screen over another window or document弹出的
　　e.g.pop-up window弹窗

　　e.g.It seems that celebrities are over hyped in comparison to highly educated and professional people.(常年住热搜的那种)
　　n.炒作，大肆宣扬
　　e.g.There's been a lot of hype around/surrounding his latest film but
　　it failed to live up to all the hype.
　　4.exaggerate/ɪɡ'zædʒəret/
　　v.夸大;夸张；
　　e.g.The press has exaggerated the whole event to make it sound more dramatic than it actually was.
　　e.g.Those ads are full of exaggerated claims!(广告中那些夸大产品功效的言论)
　　n.exaggeration
　　e.g.The report was filled with exaggerations and outright lies.
　　注：outright lies赤裸裸的谎言
　　常见搭配：It is no exaggeration to say that...毫不夸张的说
　　e.g.It is no exaggeration to say this is so far the best movie I have seen this year!
