　　在词汇方面，与KET相比，PET词汇更难。除了词汇量的显着增加之外，词语的同义转换和形式的变化也需要候选人掌握。在阅读理解方面，由于PET文本中的单词数量多于KET中的单词数量，无论是正确还是错误，或者理解填空问题，候选人都需要阅读文章的意思是为了回答。
